About
We are the Araki Muninsai Ryu Iaido and Kenbu club of Fort Collins, Colorado. Established in July of 2022, the group is affiliated with Kenshin Dojo from Phoenix, Arizona and Sensei Brad Pierce.
Senpai Robert Bahr started training in Araki Ryu in 2010.
Sensei Brad, and Senpai Robert Bahr (who leads the Fort Collins group) train together under the umbrella of Keitensha Dojo, led by Risho Hajime Hayabuchi (16th Soke) in Kobe, Japan.
Araki Muninsai Ryu Iaido is the personal family style of Hayabuchi Soke.
We are part of a multinational organization for Araki Ryu. Other dojos exist in Canada, England, France, Poland, and Japan.
As such, Soke Hayabuchi personally oversees examinations of each student, which typically happen annually.
